Carlton great Brendan Fevola called for a total board overhaul as pressure mounts on the struggling Blues, who have now slumped to six wins from 15 games after a 50-point hiding at the hands of Port Adelaide.
The calls for change followed a dramatic morning at Princes Park, where graffiti was sprayed across club walls demanding the sacking of football boss Brad Lloyd and list manager Nick Austin.
The message, curiously, spared coach Michael Voss, though Fevola questioned whether he still has the playing group behind him.
“The board needs to go. I’ve been saying that for ages,” Fevola said on Fox FM (via The Age) Friday. “Get new people in, get old Carlton people in. Blokes like [1995 premiership player] Fraser Brown, who would be amazing on the board.”
"I don't think the players are playing for you, mate"
While initially backing Voss, Fevola admitted the flat performance against Port raised serious concerns about the coach’s ability to rally the group.

“It gets to a point where you go, ‘I don’t think the players are playing for you, mate,’” he said. “If you’re playing for a coach, you don’t put up what you put up in that first half.”
Club footy boss Brad Lloyd admitted on Friday he was “unsure” if he or Voss would be at the club in 2026, but backed the coach and board, labelling some fan behaviour “toxic”.
Meanwhile, Carlton veteran Nick Haynes threw his support behind Voss and placed the onus squarely on the players.
“We haven’t been able to play that system for four full quarters... If blokes don’t do it, we’ve got plenty of young guys coming through the twos who will,” Haynes said.
