Adelaide are believed to have offered St Kilda star Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera around $1.2 million-a-season over eight years as they attempt to lure the South Australian back home.
However, the Saints are prepared to match the Crows offer in salary and length, and even go higher in dollars or years if it's what it takes to re-sign their budding young star.
According to the Herald Sun, St Kilda has prepared contracts of two years, four years and eight years in length, while they will go as high as 10 years if the player wishes.
Port Adelaide are also interested in Wanganeen-Milera but have less wiggle room currently in their salary cap - although that might change if midfield gun Zak Butters decides to return to Victoria.

It's understood Wanganeen-Milera is yet to make a decision and will do through St Kilda's bye over the next week, but his comments after the Saints' win over Melbourne last weekend indicate he is likely to stay at Moorabbin.
"I am happy playing here. I've got great relationships with the boys. I love Ross, I love all the coaching staff. I want to be part of something special here at St Kilda," Wanganeen-Milera told AFL.com.au after enjoying the win over the Demons.
"This is obviously a step towards it. We've got a good young crew. We are all self-driven and want to be the best Saints ever. That's what we are striving for. We know there are going to be ups and downs. We just want to keep sticking at it and getting to work.
"Obviously the media talks, so we just try and concentrate on getting to work on building out our future. I try and let my footy do the talking and try and avoid the stuff. My manager is back in Adelaide so we will talk over there."
St Kilda has a bye in Round 13 but the club expects to have further clarification on Wanganeen-Milera's future prior to its Round 14 clash with the Western Bulldogs on Thursday, June 12.
