Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera will make a decision on his AFL future during St Kilda's upcoming bye round - but the Saints have every reason to be confident.
With 22-year-old choosing between re-signing with St Kilda or returning home to South Australia with either Port Adelaide or Adelaide, the stakes for the three suitors have never been higher.
Wanganeen-Milera would be in the 2025 All-Australian team if it was picked today and is showing signs of developing into a superstar, while already arguably being the Saints' best player.
While the decision-making process for Wanganeen-Milera is still ongoing, St Kilda would be fairly relaxed after the latest comments to the media by the player about his future.

Following the Saints' 28-point win over Melbourne in Alice Springs where Wanganeen-Milera was arguably best-on-ground, the Indigenous star said he wants to be 'part of something special here at St Kilda'.
"I am happy playing here. I've got great relationships with the boys. I love Ross, I love all the coaching staff. I want to be part of something special here at St Kilda," Wanganeen-Milera told AFL.com.au after enjoying the win over the Demons.
"This is obviously a step towards it. We've got a good young crew. We are all self-driven and want to be the best Saints ever. That's what we are striving for. We know there are going to be ups and downs. We just want to keep sticking at it and getting to work.
"Obviously the media talks, so we just try and concentrate on getting to work on building out our future. I try and let my footy do the talking and try and avoid the stuff. My manager is back in Adelaide so we will talk over there."
Wanganeen-Milera lives with team-mates Mitch Owens and Marcus Windhager, with the trio all recruited in the 2021 AFL Draft.
His bond and connection with Owens and Windhager also appear to be an ace up the Saints' sleeve in their hope to keep Wanganeen-Milera at Moorabbin.
"We all got drafted together and have become great mates; they are two of my best mates," he said.
"They are both really switched on, but we have a lot of fun outside of footy.
"Mitchito likes to say he does all the cooking, but nah he doesn't. It's pretty good to be living with two of our best mates. 'Windy' probably doesn't clean as much, he will admit that."
St Kilda's current and former connection with Indigenous stars will also be a sell for Wanganeen-Milera, who wears the no.7 jersey made famous by club legend Nicky Winmar.
Other Indigenous players at the Saints include Brad Hill, Liam Henry, Marcus Windhager, Isaac Keeler and Lance Collard.
If Wanganeen-Milera does leave St Kilda, it will be a hammer blow to the club but it certainly won't be through lack of trying to keep a player they believe could become a Saints great.
