Michael Voss' coaching tactics have been questioned as Carlton crashed to a 56-point defeat at the hands of Collingwood on Friday night.
In a strange move, the Blues coach was seen sitting in the far corner of the MCG coaches' box, nearly out of sight as his team were thrashed by the premiership favourites.

Ex-Collingwood premiership and Brownlow winner Dane Swan suggested Voss wouldn't be able to see the whole of the ground from the 'strange' position.

"Voss surely can’t see the whole ground sitting back row on the stairs against the wall," Swan posted on X.
"That is one strange spot for the head coach to be sitting."

Ex-St Kilda coach Grant Thomas believed that the Carlton tactician was hiding.
“Why is Vossy hiding in the back corner of the coaches box sitting on steps?" Thomas wrote on X.
Voss wasn't asked about his coaches' box seating position in his post-match press conference, but couldn't hide his dismay at Carlton's performance.
“It’s clear that we need to have some pretty important conversations. We let our club down tonight,” Voss said.
“That’s something we’re going to have to sit with, not going to avoid that conversation, we’ll have to cop our whack, well, we have to cop it because we can’t tolerate that, that was a really poor performance.”
