Carlton coach Michael Voss has conceded the club needs to be performing better after a big loss against arch rivals Collingwood on Friday night.
The Blues were only behind by six points at quarter time but lost by 56 points to the Pies, losing (8.11) 59 to 17.13 (115).
This is the third loss in a row for the Blues, who are sitting in 11th place with six wins and 10 losses, with pressure mounting on Voss’ position as coach.
They also have a mounting injury crisis with Zac Williams subbed out with a knee injury, and may join stars such as Harry McKay, Adam Saad, Jack Silvani and Sam Walsh on the sidelines.

A disappointed Michael Voss chastised the Blues in his post-match press conference, saying the club was let down by their performance.
“It’s clear that we need to have some pretty important conversations. We let our club down tonight,” Voss said.
“That’s something we’re going to have to sit with, not going to avoid that conversation, we’ll have to cop our whack, well, we have to cop it because we can’t tolerate that, that was a really poor performance.”
Voss was asked about how he was coping with the mounting pressure over a poor season, but didn’t want to think about his future
“Don’t speculate beyond this week, it’s not for me to do. My job is to look at what worked and what didn't work," Voss added.
“We’ve got to be much better than what we are, and we’ve got to lead our way out of that, and that starts absolutely with me.”
Voss has a coaching record of 45 wins, 41 losses and 1 draw as Carlton's coach and has made finals in the previous two years.
The Blues will take on the highly touted Brisbane at Marvel Stadium on Thursday night.
