Philadelphia Phillies outfielder/ designated hitter Kyle Schwarber is playing in the final year of his contract, and there is a chance he won't return to the team next season.

The Phillies should do everything they can to make a run this season with Schwarber still on the team, and also try to find his replacement.

Philadelphia could make a trade at this year's trade deadline to help get another bat on the roster. Kiley McDaniel and Jeff Passan from ESPN think Los Angeles Angels outfielder Taylor Ward could be a good fit for the Phillies.

"Ward comes with an additional year of team control after this season, and his underlying numbers suggest he is still largely the same hitter as last year, when he posted a .246 average and 25 homers. Best fitsSan Diego, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Seattle, San Francisco, Kansas City." Kiley McDaniel and Jeff Passan from ESPN wrote.

Ward is currently under a one-year, $7 million deal but has another season of control next year.

Ward has a career total of 96 home runs and could be a Schwarber replacement next season, and could even help the team win the World Series this year.
