Stage 14 of the 2025 Tour de France was another mountainous stage.
The stage was 182.6km in length, with just under 5km in elevation.
Thymen Arensman of the UCI WorldTeam Ineos Grenadiers had a career day, holding off some of the sport's greats on a difficult course.

With about 36 kilometers to go, Arensman was able to pull away from a small group of riders leading the race, becoming the sole rider in front.
After that, he was alone in front for the rest of the race, putting together an impressive ride to win the stage.

Jonas Vingegaard and Tadej Pogačar were side by side, slowly making up ground throughout the last few kilometers, but were more worried about not letting the other get away.
With less than a kilometer to go, Pogačar made a move and out-sprinted Jonas Vingegaard to the line.
He won by just a few seconds, but got an extra time bonus for finishing in second place at Stage 14.

Every second matters, and although Vingegaard lost time to Pogačar, he has to be somewhat happy with his performances in the last couple of stages after dropping a few minutes behind Pogačar in the general classification race.
The 2025 Tour de France resumes Sunday, as riders will take on a hilly course of 169.3km with 2.4km of elevation.
