The Pittsburgh Steelers already had one offseason tight end acquisition injured. Donald Parham tore his Achilles earlier this summer.
Their TE depth chart has another point of concern after minicamp.
Undrafted rookie JJ Galbreath "spent most of minicamp on the sidelines with an undisclosed injury," according to Steelers beat writer Alan Saunders.
Galbreath was a priority UDFA out of South Dakota State.
In his junior season, Galbreath had 36 catches for 579 yards and five TDs at SDSU. Then as a senior, he had 32 catches for 469 yards.
He's 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, a potential depth piece if he can get healthy.

At this point, the Steelers have to be hoping this is the end of their tight end injuries. Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington hold down the top two spots for sure, and if one of them was to get hurt, something may have to change.
The Steelers have been linked to Dolphins TE Jonnu Smith in trade rumors. Right now, nothing has happened. Injuries always have the potential to create some action, though.
