Saquon Barkley's 2024 season was legendary.

It could've been even better for the Philadelphia Eagles superstar running back.

NFL.com revealed on Friday that Barkley led the league in one unusual statistic: times tackled at the 1-yard line.

Barkley was brought down at the 1 on 11 occasions. No wonder Jalen Hurts ran for so many touchdown. In those tackle scenarios, NFL.com said Hurts went on to run for seven touchdowns on the nine total drives it happened (twice in the same drive for Barkley), along with one Hurts passing TD and one field goal.

Barkley ran for a career-high 13 rushing TDs even without these.

If he had cashed in on most of these other drives, he could've had 20.

Barkley led this category by far. Five players tied for second place with eight stuffs at the 1.

The highest-paid RB in football probably isn't all that bothered by it. He had a legendary 2,000-yard season and won the Super Bowl.

But man, Barkley's fantasy numbers could've been even crazier than they already were.

And if he regresses in a positive way, don't be surprised if Barkley approaches 20 touchdowns this season.
