When is the World Series in 2022?

  • Start date: Friday, Oct. 28, 2022
  • End date: Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022 (possible Game 7)

The 2022 World Series will begin Friday, Oct. 28. It will end Nov. 1 if the series lasts just four games, Nov. 2 if it goes five games, Nov. 4 if it goes six games and Nov. 5 if it goes the full seven games.

How to watch World Series games

All World Series games will be broadcast on Fox, with Fox's A-Team at the helm. For the first time, Joe Buck won't be doing the play-by-play, one of the effects of Buck moving to ESPN to do "Monday Night Football." Instead, Joe Davis will join John Smoltz in the broadcast booth. Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci will report from the field.
