Spain Women National Team has parted ways with head coach Montse Tome, following their Euro 2025 defeat to England.
Tome's contract runs through to August 31 but the Spanish Football Federation has confirmed it will not be renewed.
43-year-old Tome became the first female head coach when appointed in September 2023, taking over the national side following the Luis Rubiales scandal.
She led the side to an inaugural Women's Nation's League victory in 2024, but suffered penalty shootout defeat to Sarina Wiegman's Lionesses in the Euro 2025 final on July 27.
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) thanked Tome for "her work, professionalism and dedication".
Under-23's head coach Sonia Bermudez has been promoted up to the senior team head coach.
