McTominay signed with Napoli last summer after the club agreed a deal worth over £25 million with Manchester United.
The Scotland International started at United's youth academy before making his debut for the Premier League side in 2017. After 256 appearances and 29 goals for the club, McTominay moved to Napoli.
In his debut season, McTominay scored 12 league goals, making him the side's second top scorer behind Romelo Lukaku.
The pair both scored in the 2-0 victory over Cagliari, which sealed the 2024/25 title.

Why has McTominay been nominated?
McTominay was a fan favourite from the moment he stepped onto the pitch for Napoli. Alongside that, he managed to score 16 goals in 48 games across all competitions.
In April 2025, he netted five goals to seal him player of the month for Antonio Conte's side, and he was the top-scoring midfielder in the Italian league, alongside AC Milan's Christian Pulisic.
His success in Italy is starkly different to his Premier League days - with just 19 goals in 178 games for Manchester United.
But that could come down to McTominay playing an attacking central midfielder role under Conte's leadership, as opposed to his more defensive role at United.
As a one-club city, Napoli have taken McTominay as one of their own - branding him "McFratm", translating to "McBrother" and brandishing his face across the city.
