Kylian Mbappe could be on the move from Paris Saint-Germain next month with the Ligue 1 champions trying to reach a resolution with their talisman.
Mbappe's decision not to sign a new contract, or activate a clause to extend his current deal until 2025, has created a tense stand-off between the forward and the club's hierarchy.
PSG have indicated their willingness to sell him to avoid a free transfer exit in 2024, with Real Madrid rumoured to have already reached a deal to sign him next summer.
However, despite Madrid's potential early move, PSG want to secure a transfer fee for the France captain, and Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal have made a sensational offer for the 24-year-old.

Kylian Mbappe transfer latest
Mbappe was omitted from PSG's preseason squad for their tour of Japan in a bold step by the club to try and bring the situation to a conclusion.
Heading into August, Mbappe and PSG have three options on the table, which could still include him completing the final year of his contract at the Parc des Princes in 2023/24.
If Mbappe stays at PSG, he will almost certainly move to Madrid in 2024 as planned, with Los Blancos only willing to make a transfer bid this summer if they are forced to.
However, a world-record approach from Al Hilal has thrown a spanner in the works. Their offer presents PSG with a chance to cash in on the player now, while Mbappe could potentially still move to Madrid in 2024, even if he accepts the approach to move to the Saudi Pro League.
But according to reports, including from Sky Sports, Mbappe has little intention of accepting Al Hilal's offer despite the enormous wealth on offer.
Al Hilal's world-record transfer bid for Kylian Mbappe
The bid from Al Hilal for Mbappe is an astonishing one as they look to bring a transformative name to the Middle East in 2023.
As per reports from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, and widespread media outlets, Al Hilal have lodged a transfer bid of €300 million ($334m) to PSG for Mbappe. PSG are said to be happy to accept.
The fee would smash the world-record €222m ($252m) PSG paid to sign Neymar from Barcelona back in 2017. It would also see them make a profit of around €120m on Mbappe, who arrived a year later from Monaco.
However, despite Al Hilal's readiness to make the move happen, and PSG's determination to sell, Mbappe has remained steadfast in his position over not meeting with the Saudi Pro League club.
Al Hilal's contract offer to Kylian Mbappe
The eye-watering fee put forward by Al Hilal is only one part of an overall deal that has the potential to pass the 1 billion mark in euros, pound sterling and US dollars.
With Al Hilal acutely aware of Mbappe's desire to complete a 2024 move to Madrid, they are said to be willing to hand the player a one-year deal.
The 12-month contract is rumoured to include a basic €200m salary, with the potential for up to €700m in image/commercial rights, as Al Hilal are open to allowing Mbappe to retain the bulk of his off-field earnings.
Transfer records: Who is the most expensive player ever?
If Mbappe does decide to move to Al Hilal, the deal would break the record and become the most expensive transfer in history.
That benchmark was set by Neymar's £198m/$252m move from Barcelona to PSG in 2017. Mbappe's transfer from Monaco is still second on the all-time list.
