Leeds United look set to add a proven Premier League striker to their ranks, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin agreeing to join the club on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old will undergo a medical at Thorp Arch in the coming days, with the deal expected to be completed before the end of the week.

The England international has been without a club since leaving Everton in June, bringing an end to a nine-year stay at Goodison Park.
He scored 71 goals in 274 appearances for the Toffees, but his later years on Merseyside were hampered by injuries that stalled his momentum.
Everton did offer Calvert-Lewin a new deal last summer, but the striker opted for a fresh challenge. Posting on Instagram when he announced his departure, he wrote: “Everton has been my home since I was 19 years old.
"It’s the place that saw potential in me, challenged me to grow, and shaped me both as a footballer and as a man.
"This isn’t something I chose lightly.”

The announcement comes days after Calvert-Lewin sacked his agent, holding talks with Manchester, Newcastle and Leeds himself.
Leeds boss Daniel Farke has been keen to add top-flight experience to his attacking options ahead of their Premier League return, and Calvert-Lewin will join recent signing Lukas Nmecha in the forward line.
What did Farke say?
Speaking after training on Wednesday, Farke praised the move as “a fantastic opportunity to bring in a player with proven quality in this league.”
“Dominic is a player I’ve admired for a long time,” Farke said.
“Yes, he’s had some injury issues, but his work rate, physical presence and ability in the air are exactly what we need to compete in the Premier League.”
Calvert-Lewin, who has 11 England caps and four international goals to his name, last featured for the national side in 2021.
He’ll be hoping that a successful stint at Elland Road could reignite his chances of a Three Lions recall.
The striker himself told LUTV after the agreement in principle was announced:
“Leeds is a massive club with an incredible fan base. After speaking to the manager and seeing the ambition here, it felt like the right place for the next chapter in my career.
"I can’t wait to get started and play my part in keeping this club where it belongs.”
The deal marks Leeds’ eighth signing of the summer transfer window, adding depth and experience to a squad that stormed back into the Premier League after last season’s Championship title win.
Fans will now be eagerly awaiting the sight of Calvert-Lewin in white, hoping he can rediscover the form that once made him one of England’s most feared number nines.
