The 2022/23 Champions League quarterfinals begin on Tuesday, April 11 with Inter Milan's first leg away clash at Benfica one of the opening fixtures on the schedule for the final eight.

Simone Inzaghi's Inter edged out Benfica's domestic rivals Porto in the Round of 16 as Benfica themselves hammered Club Brugge 7-1 on aggregate.

However, despite their positive European form, Inter face a major battle to secure a top four spot in Serie A this season (they're one point out in 5th place) with Benfica leading the way in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, as they push for a first league title since 2019.

Here's all the key information on the first-leg Champions League match, including kickoff time, live streaming and TV channels, lineups, and betting odds.

Benfica vs Inter Milan lineups, team news

Benfica head coach Roger Schmidt has confirmed there are no fresh injury worries ahead of this game and he could stick with an unchanged starting lineup from their 2-1 league defeat to Porto last Friday.

Goncalo Ramos is the key player for the home side, with 25 goals in all competitions this season, including seven in the Champions League.

Benfica predicted lineup (4-3-3): Vlachodimos (GK) — Bah, A. Silva, Otamendi, Grimaldo — Luis, R. Silva, Chiquinho — Mario, Ramos, Aursnes

Inazghi is still without two key players due to injury, with Milan Skriniar and Hakan Calhanoglu ruled out until at least the end of April.

Marcelo Brozovic and Lautaro Martinez are expected to rotate back into the team after being rested for last weekend's Serie A 1-1 draw with Salernitana.

Inter Milan predicted lineup (3-5-2): Onana (GK) — Darmian, De Vrij, Acerbi — Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Mkhitaryan, Gosens — Martinez, Lukaku

Benfica vs Inter Milan betting odds

Despite not being among the favourites to go on and win the competition, these two sides are evenly matched at this stage, after avoiding a major superpower in the quarterfinals.

Benfica have only lost once at home across all competitions this season, and that should give them a slight edge against an Inter Milan side which has only won once away from home in Europe in 2022/23.

Prediction: Benfica to win 1-0
