Arsenal vs. AC Milan lineups, team news, score prediction as Tour of Asia begins image

Arsenal begin their pre-season tour of Asia with a game against Serie A giants AC Milan in Singapore on Wednesday, hoping to have a few new signings aboard.

Martin Zubimendi, already with the club, is eyeing his Gunners debut, while fans still have dreams of Viktor Gyokeres being added to that list.

The start of the 2025/26 season comes with significant promise for Arsenal, who performed exceptionally last campaign and were just a few pieces short of contending for titles both domestically and abroad. Now looking close to signing a talisman striker, there could be big things on the horizon for Mikel Arteta's side.

The bookmakers narrowly fancy Arsenal for this one with the Gunners given almost a 56% chance of victory. You can bet on this game here with Bet365.

Arsenal vs. AC Milan predicted lineups, team news

The AC Milan squad has turned over some this summer, most notably after the sale of Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City. Theo Hernandez also departed to join Saudi side Al Hilal. Additionally, Kyle Walker and Joao Felix finished loan deals, captain Davide Calabria and striker Luka Jovic saw their contracts expire, and defender Pierre Kalulu made his Juventus loan deal permanent.

They have yet to identify replacements for many of them, but the Rossoneri did bring in Real Madrid legend Luka Modric on a free transfer and signed defensive midfielder Samuele Ricci from Torino.

Ismael BennacerYacine AdliAlexis Saelemaekers, and Tommaso Pobega all returned from loans elsewhere and could factor in this season if they decide to stick around.

AC Milan predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Maignan (GK) — Royal, Thiaw, Tomori, Bartesaghi — Fofana, Adli — Pulisic, Bennacer, Leao — Gimenez

Injured: None

Arsenal's only injury worry at this point in pre-season is the continued recovery of forward Gabriel Jesus from his ACL tear last winter. Jesus is expected to be ready for action soon but will be brought back slowly given his history of knee injuries.

New signing Martin Zubimendi was not part of the group to face Southampton in their first pre-season match, but he has made the trip to Asia and is likely to make his debut for Arsenal at some point during the next few games. Gyokeres has not signed yet and even when he does will need time to link up with the club and get to training before he can appear in a match.

New back-up goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and midfield signing Christian Norgaard could be involved against Milan after travelling with the group, but Noni Madueke, signed from Chelsea last week, is not likely to feature yet as he is on a short break following the Blues' FIFA Club World Cup campaign.

Also not part of the Southampton result were starting defenders Gabriel and William Saliba, but both are also gearing up for their first pre-season outings.

Arsenal predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Raya (GK) — White, Gabriel, Saliba, Lewis-Skelly — Zubimendi, Rice — Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli — Havertz

Injured: Jesus (ACL)
