Rasmus Hojlund is expected to play second fiddle to Benjamin Sesko at Manchester United this season.

Sesko arrives at Old Trafford from RB Leipzig with a big reputation. As Hojlund has failed to make his mark for Ruben Amorim's side, the striker has fallen down the pecking order.

Hojlund arrived at Old Trafford for £72 million after scoring nine goals in 32 games in his only season in Serie A with Atalanta.

It is no surprise that he has failed to live up to his hyper-inflated price tag as he is still a young player who needs developing.

A return to Serie A, where Hojlund can complete his footballing apprenticeship, is what is needed before he gets another chance in the Premier League.

Hojlund has options in Serie A, with The i Paper reporting that, "Inter Milan, Roma, Juventus and Napoli have joined frontrunners AC Milan in making enquiries with Hojlund’s representatives."

Which Serie A club would suit Rasmus Hojlund best?

Juventus, Inter, and Napoli will all have Champions League football next season. These clubs would be tempting, and Hojlund will feel that European football's top competition is his level after being at United.

Hojlund, however, needs to find a club where he will play regularly. Roma will be in the Europa League, whilst Milan will not be competing in Europe. One of these teams may be a better fit for Hojlund as he looks to rebuild his reputation.
