Jack Grealish could lead a player exodus at Manchester City this summer as Pep Guardiola reshapes his squad.
On the back of finishing third in the 2024/25 Premier League rankings - and failing to win a trophy - Guardiola is determined to make an impact at this summer's FIFA Club World Cup.
Ahead of the tournament, Guardiola has made a host of big calls, including a decision to exclude Grealish from his travelling panel.
Grealish will remain in Manchester, as Guardiola aims for glory in the USA, with all three new signings Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Cherki and Rayan Ait-Nouri included.
Guardiola has dropped multiple hints that Grealish may need to leave the Etihad Stadium to secure regular match action in the coming weeks.
The former Aston Villa star made just seven EPL starts in 2024/25 with Jeremy Doku and Savinho making double and triple that amount respectively.

Jack Grealish's Man City contract, transfer fee, new club options
As the saga rolls on, Grealish faces a key call on his future, to stay and try change Guardiola's mind, or move on ahead of the World Cup in 2026.
The 29-year-old needs to be match sharp to secure a spot in Thomas Tuchel's Three Lions squad and that could make up his mind.
Former side Villa and Everton have been linked with loan offers for the 2025/26 season alongside rumoured interest from Serie A.
Grealish's £300,000 [$407,000] a week wages are also an issue for interested clubs, with his contract running until 2027, so City may need to subsidise his salary to secure a loan exit.

As per Football Insider, Newcastle United have moved into the lead spot to land Grealish, with Eddie Howe looking to bring in a fresh option out wide.
The Magpies already have Anthony Gordon, Jacob Murphy and Harvey Barnes in their ranks but Grealish adds experience ahead of their UEFA Champions League return.
Securing a spot back in Europe's top competition was a clear target for Howe, and it allows Newcastle to offer that lure to potential new signings, including Grealish.
Across all competitions in 2024/25, Grealish made 32 appearances, scoring three goals and laying on five assists.
