Liverpool fans are confident of Florian Wirtz will be a huge asset to Arne Slot's squad in the 2025/26 season.
The Reds landed a deal for the Germany international as their marquee signing of the summer window with a British transfer record fee of £116.5m.
Wirtz will look to fill the creative void jointly left by the exits of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Luis Diaz on the back of scoring 10 goals and laying on 12 Bundesliga assists.
The 22-year-old is gearing up for the new campaign and he is ready for the challenge after naming his toughest opponent from last season.
"The toughest... maybe Mac Allister, in the last game we played against Liverpool in the Champions League. It was very difficult to play against him," as per Marca.
"Salah was the best player last season. I'm really looking forward to playing with him.

Wirtz also answered the GOAT question - without hesitation - when asked over who is better Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the all-time rankings.

"I had a few posters hanging in my room as a kid - Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembele, and Aubameyang, for example. My first jersey, however, was Messi’s Argentina jersey.
"He's the best player of all time. Nobody can play like Messi. He has his own way of playing. "
