Manchester United are reportedly keeping an eye on Nicolas Jackson's possible exit situation at Chelsea.

After being the first-choice striker for the Blues for the past two seasons, Jackson has seen significant competition arrive in the summer transfer as Liam Delap and Joao Pedro have landed at Stamford Bridge, as part of Enzo Maresca's rebuild.

These arrivals have cast doubt over the Senegalese international’s future with the Blues and the former Villarreal forward is rumoured to be considering his future at the club.

The Blues could now cash in if the right offer arrives this summer, with the Red Devils one interested party, alongside AC Milan and Aston Villa.

According to The Times, United are monitoring Jackson's evolving situation, as Ruben Amorim looks to bolster his options up front for the upcoming season.

However, as part of Chelsea's desire to secure a bug exit fee, Jackson has been valued at around £100m [$133.8m], and United are not currently willing to make official approach at that price, as they continue to track Bryan Mbeumo.

Why Nicolas Jackson could leave Chelsea for Man United

Jackson will be looking for a starting role where he plays in 2025/26 and there is no certainty he remain in West London.

Delap and Pedro have made an instant impact for Chelsea at the FIFA Club World Cup and will be ahead of Jackson in the pecking order as Maresca thinks big for next season.

Jackson may not be the most prolific striker in the English top-flight, but he would represent an upgrade on United duo Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, after scoring 10 league goals in 2024/25.

Neither Hojlund or Zirkzee managed more than five top-flight strikes, as part of a poor campaign at Old Trafford.
