Following the additions of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap this summer, Nicolas Jackson is now third in the pecking order when it comes to Chelsea's strikers.
Both Pedro and Delap performed well as the Blues won the Club World Cup in July, and they have both been impressive in pre-season friendlies ahead of the start of the Premier League this weekend.
Jackson's fortunes have not been so good, as he was sent off during the Club World Cup. This goes along with a red card he picked up against Newcastle United at the end of the last Premier League campaign.
The striker will be suspended for Chelsea's opening game of the league season against Crystal Palace this Saturday. However, he may be in for a fresh start at a new club.
The Telegraph has reported that "Jackson favours a move to Newcastle United should he leave Chelsea during this transfer window."

Nicolas Jackson moving to Newcastle could pave the way for Alexander Isak to depart
Newcastle currently has an unhappy striker in Alexander Isak, who has been frozen out of Eddie Howe's side, while the player continues to try to force a move to Liverpool.
The Magpies value Isak at £150 million, but they may be willing to let him go for less if they have a ready-made replacement.
Jackson will have a lot to live up to if he is going to be Isak's replacement at St. James' Park. However, he will be playing with a point to prove after falling out of favour at Stamford Bridge.
