Marcus Rashford is hopeful of hitting the ground running this season at Barcelona.

The England international completed a season-long loan switch to Catalonia in July after being told he had no place in Ruben Amorim's plans at Manchester United.

Rashford spent the second half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Aston Villa and the move to Spain offers a fresh chance to revive his career.

A solid preseason has amped up expectations over what he can add to Hansi Flick's team and Barcelona have a £40m purchase option on him in 2026.

Barcelona are confident they can resolve the issue of ratifying Rashford's registration with La Liga and he could make his debut against Mallorca on August 16.

Ahead of the new La Liga campaign, Rashford spoke to Gary Lineker and the The Rest is Football podcast, about his United exit and the next chapter at Barcelona.
