Campbell's comeback seals Super Series Champions Week finale spot image

Scott Campbell secured his place in Saturday’s Champions Week finale on Wednesday, after winning four of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the MODUS Super Series. 

Campbell, who entered Wednesday’s play in 3rd place on 12 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Jenson Walker, Shane McGuirk, Derek Coulson and Mervyn King, with his only defeat coming against Alec Small, to end on 20 points from a possible 30 overall.  

Elsewhere, Derek Coulson and Shane McGuirk will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Coulson ending on 20 points and narrowly missing out on an automatic spot into finals night due to leg difference, whilst McGuirk ended on 16 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Devon Petersen, David Davies and Sam Spivey.  

Mervyn King, Jenson Walker and Alec Small will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4th, 5th and 6th respectively overall, with King ending on 14 points, Walker on 12 points and Small on 8 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Jarred Cole, Reece Robinson and David Evans.  

The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST. Play will be streamed live on The MODUS YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
