The fourth Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar trophy between India and England is underway at the iconic Old Trafford stadium in Manchester. England have been exceptional in the game so far and are on the brink of a series victory.
After bowling out India for 358 runs, where Stokes took a fifer, the all-rounder then played a marvellous innings of 141 runs, and along with Joe Root, helped England to post a mammoth total of 669 runs.

In response, England posted a monumental 669 runs, reaching a commanding position in the game. Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett scored half-centuries (84 and 94 respectively), and it was followed by an exceptional 150 runs from modern-day great Joe Root.

England were already in a dominating position at 349 for 4 when Ben Stokes came in and scored a magnificent ton, following his fifer. Stokes became only the fifth skipper in the history of Test cricket to grab a fifer and score a hundred in the same match.

Ben Stokes has led his side from the front in the home series against India so far. He has been in some great form with the ball from the first game itself. His batting form was a bit of a concern, but the big man has now answered all his critics.
