The much-anticipated fourth Test kicked off on Wednesday, July 23. As England are looking to seal the fate of the series with a win in Manchester, India will hope to restore parity after losing the third game at Lord's.

Shubman Gill lost yet another toss as Ben Stokes sent India to bat first in challenging weather conditions at Manchester, with the sole intention of taking advantage of the overcast and picking up some early wickets.
