India's thumping 336-run win at Edgbaston has not only levelled the series 1-1 but also stirred up a pre-match buzz ahead of the third Test at Lord's.
With Shubman Gill scoring 430 runs across two innings and Akash Deep picking up a ten-wicket haul, the visitors put in one of their most dominant overseas performances in recent memory.

The emphatic nature of the win has drawn widespread reaction - including some fired-up responses from England supporters, particularly with the Lord's Test on the horizon.
One such voice was British broadcaster Piers Morgan who turned his attention to the possible return of England pacer Jofra Archer.

Piers Morgan targets India fans ahead of Lord's Test
Taking to social media after the match, Piers Morgan suggested that Jofra Archer might have a say in wiping the smiles off Indian faces in the third Test.
"See you at Lord's – where I suspect @JofraArcher will wipe all those smug grins off your faces," Morgan posted on X.

On Day 3 of the Edgbaston Test, Morgan tweeted 'I love Bazball so much' after watching Harry Brook and Jamie Smith dominate India. But after India’s dramatic win, the Bharat Army responded with laughing emojis, celebrating England’s loss, and Morgan clearly didn’t appreciate it.
His reply, invoking Archer and Lord’s, has only added spice to an already tense series heading into the third Test at Lord’s on July 10.
Why England need Jofra Archer to start at Lord's?
England's bowling has been scrutinized in the series so far, with India scoring 471, 364, 587, and 427/6 declared across the first two Tests.
Archer recently returned to red-ball action in the County Championship for Sussex after a long injury layoff. He could provide England with the extra pace and bite the hosts have lacked in the series so far.

Gill's double century (269) in the first innings and another hundred (161) in the second, combined with Akash Deep's bowling (4/88 & 6/99), left England with no answers.
As both sides head to Lord's, all eyes will be on whether England chooses to unleash Archer. His inclusion could bring a new dimension to the series - especially as conditions are expected to favour fast bowling.
