This has now equalled the second-highest total (14) of 300+ innings in a single Test series, just behind The Ashes 1928/29 which had 14 such scores.

Why has the 2025 IND vs ENG series seen so many big scores?
The pitches in England this summer have been very batting-friendly. Leeds had bounce but stayed true, while Birmingham and Manchester were both flat.
Lord’s offered swing early but became easier to bat on. The Oval too has followed the same pattern.
