Shubman Gill may be dominating England's bowlers on the field but that has not stopped him from being a gentleman off it.
In a recent podcast episode of For the Love of Cricket, England white-ball captain Jos Buttler and former pacer Stuart Broad reflected on Gill's incredible form in the ongoing Test series which has seen him as the leading run-scorer by a distance.

Shubman Gill's dream debut series as India captain earns Jos Buttler's admiration
Buttler - speaking on the podcast, said even though everyone knew Gill was a superstar in the making, few could have predicted such a dominant showing in his very first series as captain.
"To go and do what he's done in his first series as captain.. I don't know if anyone could have seen it. Everyone probably knew he's a top-class player with huge potential. But this is something else," said Buttler.
He also acknowledged that despite trailing 2-1, India have arguably played the better cricket for much of the series.
"If they'd just found a way in those key moments, it could be 2-1 the other way," he added.
Jos Buttler shares exchanges with Shubman Gill during England series
Broad asked Buttler if he had messaged Gill during the tour. Buttler admitted he had sent a few messages - albeit "begrudgingly" to congratulate him on his performances.
"Yeah, a couple of times to sort of begrudgingly say, 'Well played, good luck,'" he admitted.

When Broad jokingly asked if Gill left him on read, Buttler replied, "No, he does reply, which is nice."
The fifth and final Test at the Oval is scheduled to begin on July 31. A win would help India square the series and walk away with a level finish - far from ideal but certainly better than a series defeat.
