Shubman Gill's historic knock in the second Test at Edgbaston saw him scoring a record-breaking double century. But amid the innings, there was one moment where his composure slipped.
And it came not against an English bowler but his own teammate. India were going towards 600 when Gill nearly suffered a bizarre run-out scare - due to a lapse from pacer Akash Deep.

Just before Tea on Day 2, Gill pushed the ball towards mid-wicket and took off for a quick single. But Akash Deep was slow to respond and lingered at the crease.
It nearly cost India a wicket and potentially, Gill's chance at a rare triple century.

As Gill safely made it to the non-striker's end, he turned around and vented his frustration at Akash Deep for the misjudged run.

"Dekh kya raha hai? Bhaag jaldi se (What are you staring at? Run quickly)," he shouted in frustration.
It was the first time Gill had shown visible anger towards a teammate since taking over the Test captaincy. Fortunately for India, Ollie Pope's throw was off-target and Jamie Smith had to gather it wide of the stumps.
Akash Deep narrowly made it back. A cleaner throw would have seen him run out.
Gill didn't get his triple hundred. In the final session, he was dismissed for a magnificent 269 while attempting a pull off Josh Tongue.
It ended a knock that featured 30 boundaries and 2 sixes. He also put on a crucial 144-run stand with Washington Sundar - keeping India firmly in control.
Gill's performance rewrote the record books. He became the first Asian captain to score a Test double hundred in England; he now has the highest individual Test score by an Indian in England; he now also has highest score by an Indian Test captain, beating Virat Kohli’s 254.
