England and India are set to renew their historic rivalry in a five-match Test series beginning June 20, 2025, at Headingley, Leeds.

This series marks the start of the new ICC World Test Championship (2025–27) cycle for both sides and will be played at iconic English venues, including Edgbaston, Lord’s, Old Trafford, and the Oval.

India will be led by newly appointed Test captain Shubman Gill, with Rishabh Pant serving as his deputy, and key pacer Jasprit Bumrah expected to spearhead the bowling attack.

England, on the other hand, will be captained by Ben Stokes and have named a 14-member squad for the first Test, featuring the return of Jamie Overton after a three-year absence.
