Galal Yafai vs.  Francisco Rodriguez Jr. is on June 21. The main card starts at 7 p.m. local time. Yafai and Rodriguez should make their way to the ring around 10:30 p.m. BST, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

A 2020 Olympic gold medalist, Yafai (9-0) beat Sergio Orozco Oliva in a tune-up fight before taking out former champion Sunny Edwards for interim gold in November.

Rodriguez (39-6-1) is a former minimumweight champion who has failed to capture gold in other weight classes over the years. The 32-year-old is on a three-fight win streak and has 27 wins via knockout.

A veteran, Rodriguez is the most experienced fighter Yafai has faced. Yafai believes he's the perfect test for the 32-year-old from Birmingham.

"He's (Rodriguez) probably the best opponent I'm going to fight," Yafai told Sports Illustrated. "I hope I'm wrong. I hope it's an easy fight, but I can't see it being an easy fight. He's a great fighter. He's a former champion. He's already fought fighters like Nakatani and Ioka a couple of years ago up at super flyweight, but he's got to come down to my weight, and he's got to try to come and beat me. I've got to be at my best. I'm sure I will be."

The main event was supposed to be Peter McGrail vs. Shabaz Masoud, but the latter backed out due to injury. A 2018 Commonwealth Games medalist, McGrail (11-1) is on a three-fight win streak. The Olympic hopeful from Liverpool has six wins via knockout.

McGrail now faces Ionut Baluta (17-5-1), a former European bantamweight champion who is 1-1-1 in his last three fights. He looks to go 2-0 in 2025.
