The 2025 Bet Victor World Cup of Darts is here, with 40 countries set to compete for the biggest title in the international game.
England are the clear favourites, having won in 2024 and represented by the World No.1 and No.2, Luke Humphries and Luke Littler, but they will face stiff competition from 2023 winners Wales, as well as the likes of Scotland, Austria and Belgium.
Humphries comes into the tournament having just become the fourth man ever to win the "Triple Crown", after defeating Littler in the Premier League final.
Will the two rivals be able to co-exist again? The Sporting News brings you all the best predictions, tips and odds ahead of a massive few days of action.

World Cup of Darts predictions and odds
With so many teams competing, all 12 group winners will be predicted, as well as the overall winner of the tournament. All odds via tournament sponsors Bet Victor
Odds correct at time of publish but subject to change.
Group A
Winner: Netherlands (1/16)
The Dutch duo of Danny Noppert and Gian van Veen should make light work of Italy and Hungary to progress to the last 16.
Group B
Winner: Belgium (1/7)
The Belgians won't have it all their own way, but should be able to get past Latvia and the Philippines.
Group C
Winner: Germany (1/7)
This group features the oldest player in the tournament, the legendary Singapore player Paul Lim, who amazingly is still competing at 71.
On the other end of the experience scale, Germany have two newcomers this year, 28-year-old Martin Schindler and 30-year-old Ricardo Pietreczko.
The hosts should have too much for both Singapore and Portugal.
Group D
Winner: Ireland (1/16)
Having failed to make it out of the group stages on either of their two occasions pairing up, we're backing William O'Connor and Keane Barry to make it third time lucky.
Gibraltar and China will make it tricky though.
Group E
Winner: South Africa (8/1)
South Africa are unseeded, but have a pair that could prove to be a wildcard in former PDC tour card Devon Petersen and Cameron Carolissen.
We're backing them to upset ninth seeds Poland, as well as Norway.
Group F
Winner: Canada (4/9)
The 10th seed Canadians should have too much for Denmark and Malaysia.
Matt Campbell, the world no.53 making his sixth consecutive appearance, pairs with Jim Long, who is back after a six-year absence, for what could be a very interesting team.
Group G
Winner: Sweden (10/11)
France have stepped up in recent years, getting to the second round and quarter finals in the last two tournaments and could well pose a threat here as an outsider but we expect Sweden to progress as winners and edge them out.
Group H
Winner: Australia (8/13)
This is another predicted upset, but one that has plenty of merit behind it.
Ozzy duo Damon Heta (a top 10 player) and Simon Whitlock, a former tour card player, are a sleeper bet to go far, and we're backing them to knock out last year's finalists, Austria, as well as Spain.
Group I
Winner: United States (3/1)
The US should have little problem getting past Bahrain and Hong Kong.
This is the highest the States have been seeded since 2012, and should be aiming to equal, if not better, their quarter-final best-ever performance.
Group J
Winner: Chinese Tapei (4/1)
Chinese Tapei beat Lithuania and Ireland (9 seed) in 2024 to advance to the knockout stage, and we're backing them to repeat that feat this year.
Czech Republic, ranked 14th, are the biggest threat, while India will likely be there to make up the numbers.
Group K
Winner: Croatia (4/9)
The Croats had a brilliant 2024, knocking out the second seeded Wales in the second round before narrowly losing to Austria in the quarter-finals.
We think they'll be a threat in the knockouts again, and get past Japan and Switzerland here.
Group L
Winner: New Zealand (1/1)
New Zealand defeated Finland 2-0 in the groups last year, and we think a repeat is on the cards.
Argentina are making their debut in the World Cup, and will be looking to make an impression.
World Cup of Darts: Overall winner prediction
England (2/5)*
No surprises here as we're tipping the top two players in the world to come together yet again to form a super team and blow away the competition.
The Welsh duo of Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton are seeded second, and could very well make the finals, but it's Humphries and Littler's to lose.
