To say that England have kept us living on our nerves this summer would be an understatement.
An underwhelming 2-1 opening defeat to France raised questions about the Lionesses' ability to go all the way, and time and time again Sarina Wiegman's side looked like they were beaten.

- Lauren James began the tournament unfit and in a central position for England but started to thrive when playing out wide. She was again a doubt for the semi-final, though, and had to be replaced at half-time with an ankle injury.
- Both Michelle Agyemang and Chloe Kelly have turned themselves into super subs in this tournament and Sarina Wiegman may be keen to keep those players as impact finishers, rather than starters.
- Spain attacker Athenea del Castillo was a fitness doubt ahead of their defeat of Germany in the semi-finals, but she came off the bench and played around 40 minutes so should be good to go for the final.
