The 2025 Wimbledon women's singles tournament has tennis fans gearing up for another solid major, and it seems like it could be a wide-open race to the title.
World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka has been great this season, but she has lost both her grand slam finals this year and she historically struggles on grass surfaces. Reigning champ Barbora Krejcikova has battled injury and inconsistency this year. Who will emerge victorious at All England Club in 2025?
It's tough to ignore American Coco Gauff, who claimed her second grand slam win with a convincing three-set victory over Sabalenka in this year's French Open. Fellow U.S. native Jessica Pegula has also played very good tennis, although she continues to fly under the radar in the betting world.
There’s nothing quite like the two-week window at Wimbledon, where the entire sporting world seems to focus its attention on the grass courts of the All England Club. And with eight different women's champs over the past eight years, we have a very good shot of witnessing another stunning grand slam result.
Who will prevail in the 2025 Wimbledon women's single championship? Let's look at the odds, then make our predictions and best bets for the third major of the year.

Wimbledon women's singles tournament 2025 best bet to win
Coco Gauff (17/2 with Paddy Power)
Gauff has enjoyed a career year, going 31-9 and taking home her first French Open title. She's strong enough on grass to also dominate at Centre Court this July and win her first Wimbledon championship.
Competing in the same bracket as Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina, Gauff will have plenty of momentum going into the later stages if she can make it. The world No. 2 has plenty of power, and she has harnessed it well enough this year to be our best bet to win it all in Wimbledon.

Wimbledon women's singles tournament 2025 best value bet
Marketa Vondrousova (20/1 with Betfair)
Vondrousova defeated Ons Jabeur to win the title at All England Club two years ago, and she's yielding good value at 20/1 this year. She's entering Wimbledon in solid form, having just won the Berlin Tennis Open in a three-set triumph over Wang Xinyu after eliminating Sabalenka and Madison Keys earlier in the tourney.
Could this mean her injury issues and inconsistencies are behind her? We certainly like her chances, as we can't possibly forget how strong she played at Centre Court in 2023. With her strong serve, slice and drop-shot games, she's got the skill set needed to prevail in this difficult major.
Wimbledon women's singles tournament 2025 best long-shot bet
Jessica Pegula (14/1 with Paddy Power)
Pegula has been superb this season, but she still flies under the radar because of the dominance of Sabalenka and Gauff. One of the better baseline players in the world, Pegula has reached three different finals in 2025 and she has performed well on grass over the years. She reached the Wimbledon semis in 2023, and she won in Berlin around this time last year. Look for Pegula to make some noise over the next couple weeks and maybe even take down her first grand slam.
