PSG and Inter meet in one of the most fascinating Champions League finals in years at the Allianz Arena this Saturday.
Both clubs have had to beat the best of the rest to reach the showpiece in Munich, with the Ligue 1 champions seeing off three Premier League sides en route in Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa, while Inter knocked off Bayern Munich and Barcelona to seal their passage to the biggest game in European club football.
With Luis Enrique and Simone Inzaghi two of the best tactical minds in the modern game, this one has all the makings of a cracker.
The Sporting News brings you all the history, stats and form needed to suggest who might have the edge, as well as giving you all the information you need to make a well-informed decision should you want to have a bet on the game.
PSG vs. Inter head-to-head record, past meetings
Rather amazingly given their top-level pedigree, these two clubs have never met in a competitive match, adding further intrigue to the final clash between two of Europe's biggest clubs.
They played five friendlies between 2014 and 2023, with PSG winning three games to Inter's one, and the other finishing as a draw.
PSG manager Luis Enrique has faced Inter twice while in charge of Roma in the 2011/12 Serie A season. He earned a 0-0 draw at the San Siro, before hammering the Nerazzurri 4-0 at the Stadio Olimpico.
PSG vs. Inter recent form, latest results
PSG come into the final in high spirits, having sealed a domestic double with a 3-0 French Cup final win over Reims last weekend.
That made it four wins in a row across all competitions, which included the semi-final second leg 2-1 win over Arsenal.
In the Champions League this season, Enrique's side stumbled to begin with, losing three of their first four games before roaring into form. In 2025 alone, they have beaten Manchester City, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal.

Conversely, Inter's domestic season ended in heartbreak, as they just fell short in Serie A, finishing a point behind champions Napoli, and were thrashed by local rivals Milan in the semi-final of the Coppa Italia. They did win their final league game away to Como, however.
In Europe, they stormed through the league phase, conceding just one goal in their sole loss to Bayer Leverkusen. Feyenoord were seen off prior to classics with Bayern and Barcelona.

PSG Champions League record
PSG have famously never won the Champions League, with their quest for European glory being the club's main ambition since their 2011 Qatari takeover.
This is the club's second final following their 2020 loss to Bayern Munich.
The Parisians' sole continental success came in 1996 when they lifted the now-defunct European Cup Winners' Cup.

Inter Champions League record
On the other hand, Inter are three-time champions. They lifted the famous trophy in their very first two seasons in the competition — 1963/64 and 1964/65 — defeating Real Madrid and Benfica in the finals.
Following the end of their glory years, which also included 1967 and 1972 final defeats — the former against Celtic's famous 'Lisbon Lions' — Inter had to wait until 2010 to be crowned kings of Europe again.
That came as part of an iconic treble under Jose Mourinho, with Bayern Munich defeated 2-0 in the final. With the final in Bayern's home ground on Saturday, that is perhaps a good omen.
Most recently, Simone Inzaghi led his side to the 2023 final where they were very unlucky to lose 1-0 to Manchester City in Istanbul.
- INTER CHAMPIONS LEAGUE RECORD 2024/25: W10, D3, L1 +26 Goals, -11 Goals
