Rangers will look to finish the job away to Viktoria Plzen in their Champions League third qualifying round and set up a playoff clash with either Salzburg or Club Brugge as they eye the group stage of Europe's top tier club competition.

The Gers hold a 3-0 advantage following the first leg at Ibrox, a game which Djeidi Gassama continued his remarkable run in Europe with his new side. He now has four goals in three qualifying games, and will be looking to add to his tally in the Czech Republic.

The Scottish giants form on the continent is a world away from their domestic start, with new boss Russell Martin yet to win in the Scottish Premiership — much to the dismay of everyone connected to the club.

The Sporting News brings you all the latest odds and tips ahead of this clash as Rangers look to progress.

Viktoria Plzen vs. Rangers Champions League prediction

Rangers have been a Jekyll and Hyde team for a few seasons, with their best performances saved for Europe. We don't think they'll win here, with Plzen restoring some pride, but they should still easily progress given their first-leg advantage.

The draw with Betrino is at good odds of 29/10, with Plzen the favourites at 4/6 and another Rangers win in Europe back at 16/5.

The Sporting News' Score Prediction: Viktoria Plzen 1-1 Rangers

  • Rangers are rated as a 23.8% implied chance to beat Viktoria Plzen by Betrino for this Champions League qualifier second leg, while the draw is at 25.6%.
