US Women's Open 2025 golf betting tips and predictions: Best bets to win, top props, odds and more image

The 80th edition of the US Women's Open has finally arrived, with dozens of the best golfers in the world competing at Erin Hills Golf Course in Wisconsin. The second major on the LPGA calendar will play this course for the first time, so this should be an exciting event to watch and place bets on all weekend.

The 156-player field features 24 of the top 25 on the Rolex Women's Golf Rankings, including world No. 1 Nelly Korda and defending-champion Yuka Saso. Saso will be looking for her third US Open title since 2021, but she also has seven other past US Open winners to battle. They also might be battling some wind, and — oh yeah — the longest course in US Women's Open history.

Erin Hills famously hosted the men's U.S. Open in 2017, the first time that major was held in the Badger State. So, the 6,829-yard course isn't completely foreign to golf fans and bettors. Surrounded by picturesque pastures, the vast course has multiple long holes, fast and firm fairways, some blind shots, and, of course, plenty of hills. To put it mildly, it should be a challenging and demanding test for every competitor.

Let's take a look at the updated odds for the 2025 US Women's Open, then make our best bets, top value wagers and favourite long-shots to place in the top 20.

US Women's Open 2025 best bet to win

Hae Ran Ryu (14/1)

Hae Ran Ryu is arguably the best ball-striker on the LPGA Tour, and she can also be lethal when it comes to hitting greens in regulation. The world No. 5 recently won the Black Desert Championship, beating out runners-up Ruoning Yin and Esther Henseleit by a whopping five strokes.

Ryu has the kind of raw power and finesse that's needed from an Erin Hills champ — just ask Brooks Koepka, who won the men's U.S. Open in 2017. Look for the Korean to make some noise early and often this weekend, and maybe even pay us out 14 times our stake on an outright bet.

US Women's Open best value bet

Lydia Ko (20/1)

Lydia Ko is aiming to seize something Rory McIlroy captured earlier this year at the Masters: the career grand slam. She has won the three other women's majors, but never pulled down a US Women's Open. This weekend could be her best chance, as she's elite around the green and she has ice in her veins. Ko could dominate this challenging course and reward her investors handsomely.

US Women's Open 2025 top sleeper bet

Ayaka Furue (40/1)

Furue has been as consistent as they come over her past two US Women's Open starts, finishing sixth in both. She's stunningly accurate off the tee, she putts with efficiency, and she scrambles well when needed. We're taking the talented 25-year-old Japanese native as a lotto-ticket winner or a 7/2 value bet to finish in the top 10.

US Women's Open 2025 best bet to place top 20

Lexi Thompson (9/1)

The 30-year-old Thompson will be making her 19th-consecutive start at the US Women's Open, a remarkable feat considering her first one came at the tender age of 12. She has never won the major — in fact, she only has one major to her name (the 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship at the age of 19) — however, she has come close plenty of times. We like Thompson's strength off the tee and veteran acumen to carry her to a top-20 finish this weekend on the rolling hills of Erin, Wisconsin.
