Serie A betting, prediction, tips and odds — expert preview for final weekend including Napoli & Inter Milan image

One of the most dramatic seasons in recent Serie A history comes to a conclusion this weekend, with the Scudetto title, Champions League qualification and survival all still on the line.

Napoli and Inter head into the final match round separated by just a single point at the top of the table. Antonio Conte's Napoli hold the slender advantage over his former side, but they have stumbled of late, drawing their last two games. Fortunately for their sake, Lazio did them a huge favour with a late 2-2 draw at the San Siro last weekend.

Both Napoli and Inter are in action on Friday night at the same time with everything on the line, including a potential title playoff

Atalanta are sat in third and guaranteed Champions League football, but the fourth and final Champions League spot is still up for grabs. Juventus are favourites for it, sitting a point clear of fifth-placed Roma and two clear of sixth-placed Lazio. All three sides play on Sunday, as do Fiorentina, who could still take Lazio's spot in the UEFA Conference League if things go in their favour.

At the bottom, there are amazingly still five sides who could join Monza in dropping to Serie B. All of Verona, Parma, Lecce, Empoli and Venezia could go down on a chaotic final Sunday.

It promises to be a weekend for the ages in Italy, and we've got you covered with the best bets, odds and predictions for all the action.

Serie A betting, prediction, tips and odds for Napoli and Inter

Here's the latest odds and predictions for the final matchday of the season in Serie A. Odds are correct at time of publish with the firms listed, and are subject to change.

TITLE RACE:

Prediction: Napoli and Inter both to win, Napoli to win the title

Odds: 0.9/1 double with Betfair

The odds are so low on this one for a reason with there being little to suggest, at least on paper, that both sides will not win on the final matchday. If that happens, the Scudetto will go to Napoli for a fourth time, and for a second time in three years.

Inter (8/13 to win) have the harder game, visiting a Como side (4/1) who are guaranteed an impressive 10th place in their first season back in the top flight after a 21-year absence. Just as Pedro scuppered Simone Inzaghi's side last weekend, Conte will be hoping another of his former Chelsea charges, Cesc Fabegras — now in charge at Como — can do something similar this Friday.

Conte's current side (1/6 to win) will be backed by a raucous home crowd at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, and Cagliari (16/1) have little to play for other than the role of potential party spoilers.

We can't see it happening and Scott McTominay to score (11/10 anytime) is another prediction to throw in for some value. He can round off a brilliant debut campaign in Serie A by playing a hand in deciding the title.

Juventus have had a difficult season, but former player Igor Tudor has steadied the ship since taking over on an interim basis as coach from Thiago Motta. The Croatian needs a win at Venezia (8/15 with Paddy Power) to seal fourth place and Champions League football. The Old Lady have not won in any of Tudor's four away league games so far (three draws, one loss) but should get over the line here.

Claudio Ranieri takes charge of his final Roma game on Sunday after coming out of retirement to bring his hometown side from fighting relegation to the brink of European football. They have lost just one of their last 21 league games, and that remarkable run should continue with another win at Torino (8/15).

A loss for Venezia to Juve will condemn them to relegation, and we are predicting Lecce will join them on the basis of a loss at Lazio (6/10) and a draw between 18th-placed Empoli and Verona (9/4).
