The 2025 UEFA Women’s European Championship has reached the knockout stages, as the quarter-finals get underway with a host of the big names still seeking European glory.

The first of the match-ups sees two-time champions, and Group A winners, Norway take on an Italy side that squeezed through as Group B runners-up.

The Norwegians are not the force that they once were, but their side of the draw was always likely to see them go deep — although the Italians will hope to have something to say about that.

Let's take a look at all the latest betting, lineups and predictions and expert tips ahead of the last eight getting underway!

Norway were drawn into a group that consisted of hosts Switzerland, as well as two fairly middling sides in both Finland and Iceland, and they subsequently romped to top spot as expected with three wins from three.

They are bang in form and but are still as far out as 28/1 with Paddy Power to win it all.

That looks even more tempting when their last-eight opponents, Italy, are priced up at 25/1.

Ranked No. 13 in the world, the Italians haven’t gone past the quarter-finals of the UEFA Women’s Euros since being runners-up to Germany in Norway and Sweden back in 1997.

Norway to win to nil (4/1 with Skybet)

The Norwegians did concede five goals in a relatively weak Group A, but their performances were a fair bit more dominant than that suggests. Taking on an Italy side who managed a mixed bag of a win, draw and a defeat in the groups with just seven goals coming in those three games, it is expected to be a low-scoring game decided by fine margins. Backing Norway to come out on top and edge it by the odd goal looks good value.

Ada Hegerberg to score at anytime (15/8 with SkyBet)

The 2018 Ballon d’Or winner Hegerberg has yet to hit the heights in this tournament, and she is no longer the player she once was during the mid-to-late 2010s with Lyon. However, she is a big-game player and there is a sense that the best is still yet to come from her in this tournament. On her day, she remains the player with arguably the most quality on the pitch and in a tight affair we fancy her to make the difference.
