MI vs DC, IPL 2025: Betting tips, predictions and preview

Looking at recent form and how the teams have performed so far this season, the Mumbai Indians come into this game as the stronger side. They have been consistent, winning seven of their twelve matches so far, and are just one win away from securing a playoff spot.

On a usual batting-friendly surface at the Wankhede, expect the likes of Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tilak Varma to score big once again. Sharma and Yadav have been in fine form this season, while Varma is yet to find his mojo back after a few good innings at the start of the tournament.

Expect the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Trent Boult to shine with the ball as they have done throughout the season by providing crucial wickets in crunch moments.

Delhi, on the other hand, are missing their star pacer Mitchell Starc, but the team has been inconsistent during the second half of the season. Batting-wise, Abhishek Porel, KL Rahul, and Tristan Stubbs are in good touch, and they will look to take full advantage of a batting-friendly Wankhede pitch.

The bowling department is where Delhi might be a bit lagging behind; expect the two left-arm pacers, T Natarajan and Mustafizur Rahman, to play a crucial role at the death, while Dushmanta Chameera will be an important asset in the powerplay at this venue.
