Mexican side Cruz Azul and Canadians Vancouver Whitecaps will meet for the right to be crowned 2025 CONCACAF Champions Cup winners in Mexico City on Sunday in a match that will also qualify the champion for the 2025 Intercontinental Cup and the 2029 Club World Cup.
Cruz Azul reached the final with a stunning run. They debuted with a resounding 7-0 aggregate win over Real Hope (Haiti), defeated the Seattle Sounders (United States) 4-1 in the Round of 16, won a Mexican derby 2-1 against Club America in the quarter-finals, and are coming into the showpiece off a 1-0 victory over Tigres in the last minute of the semi-final (2-1 on aggregate).
A six-time winner of this competition, La Maquina are aiming for a seventh title, having last won in 2014 against Toluca.
By contrast, in their first-ever CONCACAF Champions League final, the Vancouver Whitecaps already know what it's like to defeat the continent's giants. They had to come from behind against Deportivo Saprissa (Costa Rica) and eliminated rival Monterrey on away goals, as well as Pumas, against whom they earned a hard-fought draw with a goal in extra time.
In the semi-final, they completed a 5-1 aggregate victory against Lionel Messi and Inter Miami, which is reason in itself for excitement.
For this 2025 CONCACAF Champions Cup final, Bet365 has Cruz Azul as the favorite at 3/4 in 90 mins, while a Vancouver Whitecaps win rises to 15/4 and a draw is at 13/5.

Cruz Azul vs. Vancouver prediction, tips, bet builder and odds for CONCACF final
Over +2.5 total goals in the match — 23/20 (Betfair)
Whenever Cruz Azul play, excitement is generally guaranteed. This pick has been fulfilled in three of their last four matches (vs. Leon x2 and Club America), and they have scored the first goal in seven consecutive matches. On the other hand, Vancouver Whitecaps are one step away from making history in their first CONCACAF Champions Cup final, and although they will be without top scorer Sebastian Berhalter (thanks to an accumulation of yellow cards), they have great offensive power: they are coming off a 5-1 aggregate victory against Inter Miami, and four of their last five scores have hit the over on +2.5 goals.
Angel Sepulveda to score anytime — 2/1 (Bet365)
Thanks to Sepulveda's penalty six minutes from time in the match against Tigres, Cruz Azul will return to the CONCACAF Champions Cup final after an 11-year absence. He is the tournament's leading scorer with seven goals in eight appearances, has 21 goals in 46 games this season with La Maquina, and has proven he thrives in the big games, as he did with the key brace against America in the second leg of the quarter-finals. At 34, he's aiming for his first international title, and the 2/1 odds are as attractive as his performances on the field.
