Elliott Pohnl joined The Sporting News in 2021 after a decade with Bleacher Report serving as assistant managing editor and managing editor of B/R Mag. Pohnl attended Loras College and the University of Iowa. When not watching college football, NBA or low level college basketball, Pohnl enjoys landscape projects, long hikes and reverse layups. Pohnl lives in the Bay Area with his wife and daughter.
