4月23日（日本時間24日）、NBAは175人の大学選手と58人の海外選手の合計233選手がNBAドラフト2019のアーリーエントリーリスト（早期志願名簿）に名を連ねたことを発表した。
アーリーエントリーした選手は、6月10日の午後5時（同11日午前6時）までエントリーを取り下げる権利がある。NCAAのルール上、3年生以下の選手が大学でプレイを続けるためには、5月29日（同30日）までにエントリーを取り下げる必要がある。
