When will the connection between the Oakland A's and George Michael's song "Careless Whisper" end? Not anytime soon, it seems.
As you surely know by now, A's right fielder Josh Reddick used the saxaphone-heavy song as his walk-up music a few weeks ago. It was an instant, enormous viral success.
Then, the A's reached out to Michael to see if he'd be interested in appearing at the ballpark for a game.
On Friday, the team announced that it's giving away 5,000 cheercards with a "Careless Whisper" theme on Memorial Day.
