For the first time ever, Switzerland will host a global FIBA basketball tournament.
Sixteen teams will participate in this year's FIBA U19 World Cup, giving basketball fans a chance to see the next generation of stars. The squads will be split into four groups (A, B, C and D) and battle in the Group Phase over the first three days before moving on to the Knockout Phase.

Led by BYU commit AJ Dybantsa, Team USA is considered the favorite to win the tournament after failing to reach the podium in 2023. But with challengers like Australia, France, Germany and Serbia looking to capture the title, the Americans will have their hands full.

- AJ Dybantsa (USA): An electric athlete with good size, Dybantsa is widely considered the top prospect in the class of 2025 and could be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
- Christian Anderson (Germany): The Texas Tech guard is coming off a freshman season in which he averaged 10.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
- Dash Daniels (Australia): The brother of Hawks guard Dyson Daniels, Dash is an elite defender who uses his quickness to fluster his opponents on the perimeter.
