With Roger Federer watching on from the Royal Box, Djokovic’s composed fightback drew admiration from all corners of the sporting world. And one of those watching in awe was Kohli himself.

Let’s see what Kohli had to say about Novak.

Virat Kohli’s Viral Reaction to Novak Djokovic’s Wimbledon Comeback

Kohli, dressed in a sharp suit alongside wife Anushka Sharma, witnessed yet another masterclass from the Serbian legend and his reaction to it soon caught fire online.

Shortly after the match, Kohli posted an Instagram story that instantly went viral. “What a match. It was business as usual for the gladiator,” he wrote.

Djokovic didn’t have the smoothest start. He dropped the opening set 1-6, raising questions about his form.

But true to his reputation, the 38-year-old turned things around, taking the next three sets 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to book his spot in the quarter-finals. This was his 101st win at Wimbledon, another feather in his already overloaded cap.

The match was especially symbolic. With Roger Federer watching from the Royal Box, Djokovic delivered under pressure, showcasing the same intensity that has brought him 24 Grand Slam titles.

If he clinches this year’s title, it’ll be his eighth Wimbledon crown, equalling Federer and putting him ahead of Margaret Court’s all-time record of 24 Majors.

Kohli's appearance also marked one of his first public outings since retiring from Test cricket in May. He has been in England since early June.

But while he wasn’t at Headingley or Edgbaston for India's test matches against England, his presence at Wimbledon didn’t go unnoticed.
