However, this time, India will not have a representative in the singles main draw. Fortunately, a few familiar names will still fly the Indian flag in the doubles category. Indians at Wimbledon Championships 2025
A total of four Indian players will participate in the doubles draw at Wimbledon this year. These include Rohan Bopanna, Yuki Bhambri, Rithwik Bollipalli, and N. Sriram Balaji.
Bopanna, one of India’s most experienced players and a two-time Grand Slam champion, will partner with Sander Gillé of Belgium in the men’s doubles. Their first-round match is set for Wednesday, July 2, against the third-seeded German pair Tim Pütz and Kevin Krawietz.
Bhambri will also feature in men’s doubles. He is India’s only seeded player at the tournament. Bhambri teams up with Robert Galloway of the USA, and they will play Manuel Guinard and Romain Arneodo in their first-round clash, also on July 2.
India’s doubles presence continues with Bollipalli pairing up with Nicolás Barrientos of Romania, while Sriram Balaji will be seen alongside Miguel Reyes-Varela from Mexico. Both pairs are set to play their opening matches on Wednesday.
