The road to the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup begins this week, with 24 teams setting out on their journey at the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers. 

The 24 nations have been divided into six groups; they will compete in a round-robin format to determine which teams advance to the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup, which is scheduled for next August. 

The top two teams in each group will advance, while the six third-place finishers will advance to a final round of qualifying; from there, the four highest-ranked teams will earn the remaining spots.

When are the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers?

    • Window 1: Feb. 22 to Feb. 26
    • Window 2: Nov. 21 to Nov. 25
    • Window 3: Feb. 20 to Feb. 24

The first window of games for the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers starts on Thursday, Feb. 22 and goes through Monday, Feb. 26.

The two other scheduling windows are slated for late November and February of next year.
