However, Kamindu Mendis took a stunning catch at long off to shift the momentum to the Sunrisers. The Sri Lankan bowler was earlier taken for cleaners by the South African, who smashed him for 3 sixes.

Notably, this was the first time Dewald Brevis set a foot into the field as a CSK player after he was announced as the injury replacement for Gurjapneet Singh a few days back.
