The Gujarat Titans bowed out of the Indian Premier League 2025 following their 20-run loss against the Mumbai Indians in Mullanpur during their Eliminator game on May 30.
After losing the toss, due to a string of dropped catches and some fine batting from Rohit Sharma and co., they conceded a whopping 228 runs in the all-important fixture.
Despite conceding big, they were still running away with the chase, thanks to Sai Sudharsan, Washington Sundar and Kusal Mendis before things started going south.

The Titans lost all three batters after two really good partnerships and found themselves in a tough situation that they couldn't deal with and ended up conceding the game by a margin of 20 runs.
Following the defeat, the scenes in the stands where the GT families were sitting saw Ashish Nehra's kids and Shubman Gill's sister moved to tears as they grieved their team's loss.

Notably, Nehra has been around the GT camp since their inception and has done an incredible job with them as they. He has guided the former skipper, Hardik Pandya to two finals, including a win in 2022 and Gill to another playoff, making it 3/4 seasons in playoffs.
